We offer a wide variety of wooden and aluminum moldings in contemporary and classic styles to suit conservation, corporate and budget requirements. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, our in house carpenter can help to design and realize your ideas.

Our team hold considerable experience working with three dimensional objects and textiles as well as contemporary and traditional art works.

It’s our expert understanding of presentation methods and conservation techniques, combined with our craftsmanship and dedication to quality that enables us to provide our clients with a professional service.

Since established as a department of Newcastle Arts Centre in 1982 we have worked on framing projects of all sizes. We provide art galleries, museums, universities, artists, photographers, collectors and the general public with a made to measure and personal framing service.

We can advise on and supply standard and museum quality materials including diffused glass and Water White low iron, anti reflective, anti-UV specialist framing glass for ultimate viewing, clarity and protection.

In store we sell a range of conservation and standard grade mount board from which we can cut window mounts to your specification. We also supply float and MDF cut to size and a range of framing hardware.

Whatever your requests we will endeavor to meet your deadlines.
