W&N 60ml Aquapasto
Aquapasto is a transparent gel medium that reduces flow and gives a bodied effect to water colour and gouache.

W&N Artists Masking Fluid
A liquid with added pigmentation for masking areas of work needing protection when colour is applied in broad washes. It is composed of rubber latex and pigment. For best results remove as soon as possible after application. Brushes can be cleaned if washed immediately with water after use. Sections treated with Art Masking Fluid must be allowed to dry before overpainting. Once dry these areas remain protected and cannot be penetrated by colour. Available in 75ml or 250ml jars.

W&N 75ml Colourless Masking Fluid
A colourless liquid for masking areas of work needing protection when colour is applied in broad washes. Specifically designed for soft sized papers to avoid staining. For best results remove as soon as possible after application. The fluid is composed of rubber latex. Brushes can be cleaned if washed immediately with water after use.

W&N 75ml Water Colour Medium
A pale coloured binder that when mixed with water colours improves their flow and transparency. Can be thinned with water. It has similar characteristics to Gum Arabic but increases the wetting of the paper (this is how flow of washes is improved.)

W&N 75ml Gum Arabic
A pale coloured solution that increases the gloss and transparency of water colour. It can be thinned with water.

W&N 75ml Ox Gall
A wetting agent used to improve flow when mixed directly with water colours. It can also be used on very hard sized papers to reduce surface tension.

Masquepen
Precise application. Lightweight and easy to use. Draw thin lines or curves, rigging, stamens. Available as 30ml masquepen and 30ml refill.

Masque Pen Super Nib
The Supernib slips over the Masquepen and with its 0.4mm stainless steel nib achieves superfine detail and even better control of the masking fluid. It is easily cleaned, using the Cleaning Bottle supplied with the Supernib.

Talens 75ml Masking Liquid
Temporary masking of sections in a water colour painting. Natural rubber in dispersion. Prevents adhesion of water colour to areas of the painting that are treated with masking film. Dries in 10 minutes. Can be thinned with water. Can also be used for ink and other types of water-based colours.

Pebeo 45ml Drawing Gum
Drawing Gum is a removable rubber solution used to preserve works when painting with ink, watercolour or gouache. Drawing Gum is applied, with a brush or a quill, to mask parts of the design. Once the Drawing Gum is dry (10 to 15 minutes), the colours can then be applied. When the colours are thoroughly dry, remove the Drawing Gum, using a finger or an eraser, by peeling it off.
