Picture-art-course-Drawing and Painting Still Life Compositions

Drawing and Painting Still Life Compositions (June)

£55.00

With Edwin Moreton
This is a one day course running on:
Saturday 18th June,
10:00-16:00

This one day workshop will focus on how to compose, draw and paint successful still life paintings. The key to success is knowing how to combine composition, viewpoint, drawing and colour into an effective whole. Participants will study some of the methods and practices of the Masters from the 17th Century to the present.

Working from different still life arrangements including plants, flowers, fruit and interesting objects in the studio, participants will experiment with a number of approaches working in pencil, charcoal and acrylic paints. No previous experience is required to enjoy a day working alongside others in a creative and supportive environment.
